Walter "Walt" William Henry Jr.

He was retired and a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.

He was an avid bowler and served in the U.S. Navy for 5 years, during which time he served aboard the USS Fulton.

He was a loving and devoted husband.

Mr. Henry is survived by his wife: Kathy Henry; daughter: Eileen Ciuraru; daughter and son-in-law: Lynda and Vic Barbeau; son: Walter William Henry III; son and daughter-in-law: Douglas and Lisa Henry; four step children: Hollie and Richie Vaughan, Byron and Angel Arrington, Adam and Kristy Arrington, and Ben and Shasta Stewart; 17 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother and sisters-in-law: David and Pat Henry, Kaye Henry, and Lucy Henry; brothers-in-law and their spouses: Rev. David O. Jr. and Priscilla Gibbs, and Marvin Jake and Deedee Gibbs; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend: Chris Shuffler.

He was a son of the late Walter William Sr. and Florence Henry and was preceded in death by a daughter: Rebecca Sue Henry; sister: Shirley Johnson; and two brothers: Bill Henry and John Henry.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Gerald Rudd will officiate.
