

He served in the U. S. Army in the Korean War.
He was employed at Enka and later at the Town of Greeneville.
He attended Midway United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter: Laura Hinkle of Kingsport; his loving sister: Cathy Riddle; brother: Cliff Hinkle of Morristown; brother-in-law: C.F. Smith of Midway; long-time friend and caregiver: Darlene Gregg; special friend: C. M. Cobble; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Linda L. Hinkle Smith; parents: J. B. and Beryl (Beach) Hinkle; and a brother and sister-in-law: Minnis and Mae Crittenden Hinkle.
The family will receive friends from 11 am – 1 pm Friday, November 4, 2016, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Holt officiating.
Interment will follow in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Active pallbearers will be members of the Midway United Methodist Church.
