Wilmurth "Wilma" Swatzell

March 15, 1930 – July 18, 2019

Wilma Swatzell, 89, passed away Thursday, July 18.

She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.

She is survived by her husband: Eugene Swatzell; three daughters and sons-in-laws: Teresa and Myrl Morelock, Anita and Buddy Austin, and Gina "Pebbles" and Daniel David Young; one brother and sister-in-law: Gene "Jimmy" and Marybelle Smelcer; special niece: Melissa Bowen; five grandchildren: Dave, Scott, Andy, Moody, and Zack Pickett; five great grandsons; and two great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David "Bud" and Edith Smelcer, and one nephew, David Smelcer.

The family will receive friends 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be 8 pm Sunday in the chapel of the funeral home with Cyril Thadathil and Henry Chaver officiating.

Interment will be Monday at 2 pm at New Bethel Cemetery. Friends and family will meet at 1 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and family.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Joseph Scott.
