

She was a homemaker, taking care of her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Riddle attended Horse Creek Mission Church as long as her health permitted. She was always talking and teaching her family and friends about the Lord.
Survivors include a son: Henery Riddle; two daughters: Betty Jean Hensley and Patricia “Susie” Riddle; a special niece whom she helped raise and thought of as one of her children: Ina Beatrice “Haire” Urian; a daughter-in-law: Brenda Sue Riddle, all of Greeneville; grandchildren: Gary Riddle and wife, Melanie, Sheila Shelton and husband, Jackie, Nancy Nelson and husband, Mark, Allen Byrd and wife, Jennifer, Larry Hensley, Stevie Hensley, Amy Riddle, Missy Davis and husband, Bill, B. J. Riddle, Ashley Riddle, Percilla Riddle, Jackie Wolfenburger, and Peggy Self; fourteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Henery and Artie Shelton Haire and was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Briscoe Riddle; an infant daughter, Patricia Gayle Riddle; a son, George Elgin Riddle; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Henery Doak and Berthia Haire, Ed and Waivel Haire, Maison and Vestie Haire; and one sister and brother-in-law: Lilly and Pern Hensley.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Buster Shelton will officiate.
The body will be cremated.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
