Alice Klinkhammer

Beloved mother of Michael Adams (Kelly), Michelle Adams (Hisham), and Sherri Schmidt Stutzman (Steve). Cherished and devoted Beppa to Joshua (Carolyn), Kayla (Salman), Jordyn (Luke Linders), Abi, Jessica, Ava, Sadie, Maggie, and Max. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed by her extended family and many friends. Alice was predeceased by her loving husband, Norman Klinkhammer (2023).

Born in Friesland, Netherlands, on April 1, 1946, to Jean and Sye Walinga, Alice immigrated to Canada with her family in the late 1940s, where she went on to build a beautiful life centered around family, love, and care for others. A devoted and compassionate caregiver throughout her life, Alice was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She found great joy in simple pleasures, especially time spent at the beach and relaxing while watching her favourite television shows.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

Alice’s love and gentle spirit will live on in all who knew her.
