Andrée Bernatchez passed away on December 6 after a short battle with cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully in Wellington Hospice in Guelph.
She was born in Cloridorme, Gaspé, Québec on April 14, 1937.
Known for her generosity, her sense of humour and strong family values, Andrée loved to read, enjoyed a wide variety of music and loved to dance. She was always available for advice and encouragement. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Andrée’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her daughter; Ginette, grandsons; Brad and Cole and her great grand daughter; Clémentine. She is also survived by 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
