Barbara Theresa (Hollingsworth) Reeds

90 years young. Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, Ontario on Friday, August 16, 2024. Predeceased by her loving husband Gerry (1997), her son Joe (2004) and grandson Eddie (1994). She leaves behind her daughters Liz (Terry) Thompson, Christine (Morgan) Snyder and Jenny (Paul) Potter, her grandchildren Jake (Adrienne) Potter, Ben (Erin) Reeds and Kate Reeds. Loving GG to Madison and Paisley Potter. Survived by her daughter-in- law Kim Reeds. Loving dear friend of Marylon (Mike).

Barb was born in Oshawa, Ontario then moved to Peterborough, Ontario where she met Gerry. They moved to Guelph to raise their family.

The last few years Mom was living at Guelph Lake Commons, where Mom enjoyed her life and made many friends. We would like to thank everyone at Hospice Wellington for Mom's last days.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph (519-821-5077). Family invite friends to a visitation on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 10:30am at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma Street, Guelph, with Father Boyd officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Barb's memory can be made to Saint Vincent De Paul Society or to the Guelph Food Bank.
