Cliff lived most of his life in Guelph, a city he dearly loved. He learned to do a hard days work on the farm in Aberfoyle then worked at General Electric. He then had a long career in the business of life insurance where he proudly earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation and was a member of the Canadian Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors. He had a special place in his heart for his many doggie pals, could build and fix just about anything, had a gift for remembering and telling jokes, and enjoyed entertaining friends and family with his guitar and singing country songs sprinkled with a little Elvis on the side.
We will always happily remember the many Friday nights on Bennett Ave when the front door was open for all including our friends and anyone else who wanted to be part of a special evening.
He proudly shared his love and gratitude for his family.
In Dad’s words, “the song has ended but the melody lingers on”.
We would like to thank the many wonderful caregivers Dad has been blessed with on his life journey.
