Donna Maureen Simmons passed away peacefully at home July 31, 2024. She will be remembered by her six children Justin, Jordan, Aaron, Emily, Jessica, and Katelyn. As well as her brother, Douglas Decloux and her Grandson Jayden. She is predeceased by her loving parents Thelma Decloux (Cole) and Lucien Decloux.
Donna will be remembered for her dedicated career as an emergency room Registered nurse. She was incredibly driven, graduating with honors from Conestoga College in 2001 while managing six children at home. She went on to work at a variety of hospitals including University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and Guelph General Hospital in Ontario. Her passion for caring for and helping others will never be forgotten.
As per Donna's wishes, she was cremated. There is no memorial service planned; however, a celebration of life will be organized at a later date. She will be deeply missed.
