Predeceased by the late Arthur “Art” Bestic. Dear sister of William “Bill” Currie. Cherished aunt to Todd (Lisa), Mark (Tracy) and Dean (Tracey). Predeceased by mother Winifred (1998) and father William Fraser (1988). Will be missed by all friends and extended family.
Outstanding nursing career beginning in Collingwood and Wellesley Nurses College Toronto. After a year nursing in California returned to Toronto East General Hospital, Sunnybrook, an educator at Scarborough General. Cared for elderly at Extendicare before ending her successful career as administrator at Glebe Manor. Loved animals, in particular her cats. Enjoyed her piano, going to concerts, reading, being with her long-time dear friends. Always kind, very modest, put others ahead of herself, very independent. So grateful for the care given to Flo from all the staff at The Elliott Community, Ellington.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Visitation will take place on Friday January 26, 2024, from 2:00-2:30pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2:30pm. Reception to follow.
