Loving mother to Anita (John Arnold), Judith (Gary Martin), Charles and Sioux. Devoted grandmother to Joshua (Laura), Katie, Richelle, Nathan, Samantha (Bobby) and Keely (Bryan). Loving great-grandmother to Emma, Owen, Connor, Karver, Kooper, Koen, Marlie and Felix. Gerda is predeceased by her cherished husband Maurice and their son Luke, daughter-in-law Gayle. Gerda will be forever remembered by many extended family and friends. She had a great passion for cooking and baking, moreover to share with her family. Gerda spent much of her younger years at the family cottage or travelling with her husband and family. She was an avid fisher-woman and a truly gifted artist, in fact she was featured in a local published artisan’s book and won with her submission.
Friends and relatives are invited to share in a celebration of her life at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home (Hart Chapel) 1099 Gordon St. Guelph. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
