Gordon was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth, and will be dearly missed by his children and grandchildren, his brother Douglas and sister-in-law Sharon, as well as many relatives across Canada.
Always looking to contribute to the community, Gord was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, as well as the Optimist Club in both Riverside and Guelph.
The family would like to express their great appreciation to the staff at St Joseph’s Hospital in Guelph for their compassionate care, as well as the multitude of family, friends, and caregivers who provided support to our father.
A private service for family will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please give generously to the upcoming Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Drive.
