She will be deeply missed by family, extended family and Golf, CWL and all friends.
Huguette came to Guelph, Ontario in 1970 as her husband was transferred with Imperial Tobacco from Granby, Quebec along with 31 other families. She had to learn English and help settle the family in this new environment. She eventually also started to work at the Imperial Tobacco and made many friends along the way. She loved to golf, bowling, cross country ski and travel. She spent many winters in Florida enjoying the warm weather. She loved to smile, sing and had a real zest for life. She was the heart of any gathering she attended and ensured that attendees had a good time. She was an excellent cook and baker and had a passion for making soups.
A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, support workers, administrators at the Guelph General Hospital and at the Hospice Wellington.
Huguette will be greatly missed but her memories shall live within us forever.
A mass will be held at St. Joseph Church at 409 Paisley Street, Guelph Ontario at 11 am on Saturday October 4, 2025. A reception will be held in the church hall following the mass and everyone is welcome to attend.
