Loving father to the late David and (Marie) of Rockwood, and Suzanne (Garry) of Rockwood. Proud grandfather of Stephanie (Jason) of Kitchener, Christopher (Jasmine) of Guelph, Taylor (Ashley) of Guelph, Addison and Kayleigh of Nova Scotia. Cherished great grandfather Avery and Ivy Shaw, Iris Reed and grandson on the way (Ferguson). Predeceased by parents James and Martha Rayner, brother Gordon Rayner (late Janette).
Ted and his wife Doris lived and raised their family in Everton, Ontario. Having lived in Everton for 60 years, Ted was fondly known as the mayor of Everton. If Ted wasn't out tinkering in the garage, you would find him sitting at the table having a drink with friends. Ted and Doris travelled around to bluegrass festivals with their camper. Ted made many friends and made many more at his residence at St Joseph’s LTC in Guelph, Ontario.
We would like to send a special thanks to Christine and Duane Andrews for their care and friendship to Ted and his family. I hope they know how truly grateful we are.
We would also like to thank the staff of St Joseph LTC on 2 north white birch path. They are all truly amazing people. We will miss them very much.
Will be missed by all friends and extended family.
There will be a celebration of life for Ted on Saturday July 5th, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 PM at 192 Lou's Blvd Rockwood, ON.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to St Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences can made online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson-hart.com
