Kenneth Hartig

It is with very deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Wayne Hartig on March 5, 2023 in Guelph,ON. Loving husband to Alice. Proud father to Jeff, Karen (Rick), Amanda (Jay-Jay) and Melissa (Jeff). Beloved Grandpa of Kaleb, Branden, Sharlene, Owen, Paige, Austin and McKenna. Cherished brother to Shirley, Sharon, Dennis, Carey and Della. Predeceased by his parents Reinhold and Katherine, his sister Patricia, his brothers Bill and Barry. Ken will be missed by all his friends and extended family. We would like to thank the kind neighbour who was with Ken and administered CPR until the Guelph fire department and paramedics arrived. Thank you to the compassionate staff at Guelph General Hospital. A special thank you to his family Dr Markus Schatzmann of Milton for his excellent care over the years. Memorial to be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses: 11 Torch Lane Guelph, ON Sunday March 19, 2023 at 6:30pm Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, ON, where cremation has taken place.
