Lynette was born on April 21, 1933, in Sri Lanka. She came to Canada in 1966 and lived a long and meaningful life centered on family, faith and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her warmth, her caring nature and the love she shared with those closest to her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lucian Keil, her sisters, Monica and Portia and her brother Sam. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Daphne and brother Stanmore.
Lynette leaves behind her sons, Howard (Linda) and Cal (Diane). She was a proud Nanna to Cassie (Kevin), James (Talisa), Christopher (Paulina), Jamie and Rebecca and a cherished Great-Nanna to Knox, Baylor, Noah, and latest arrival Winsley. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured the time spent with each generation.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the compassionate ICU team at Guelph General Hospital for their care and support.
Interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A private family funeral will be held on March 23, 2026.
Lynette will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
