Born in Elmira Ontario, Margaret dedicated much of her life to sharing joy and laughter with all who had the good fortune of knowing her. Her hard-working nature was only matched by her remarkable sense of humor. Margaret was a beloved mother of 2, Grandmother of 5, Great-Grandmother to 9, and a cherished friend to many.
Margaret's life was a testament to resilience and love. No matter the challenges she faced, she met them with a stubborn determination and a smile that could light up any room. She was a pillar of strength for her family, always putting their needs above her own and offering endless support and love.
Margaret had a passion for life that was evident in all she did. She enjoyed travel, playing cards, sewing, cooking, baking, coloring, and painting. These activities brought her immense joy and were often shared to create countless cherished memories. She embarked on many adventures with her doting husband Frank, they cherished every moment together.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Kim, her loving son Jerry, her adoring grandchildren, and her precious great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Eva Billings, brother Peter (Sheila) Arndt, sister-in-law Marjorie Arndt, and brother-in-law Oliver Randall. Margaret is adored by many other friends and relatives as well.
Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband Frank Vettor, parents Henry and Eva (Massel) Arndt, brothers Harry (Betty) Arndt, Robert (Lillian) Arndt, Charles Arndt, Paul Arndt, sisters Lillian (Melvin) Melitzer, Helen Randall, Lorraine (Leo) Steffler, Jean Arndt, Joyce Arndt, Grace (Robert) Leis, June (in infancy), and brothers-in-law Orie Billings, George Vettor (Regina), Rino Vettor, and Son-in-law Peter Street.
Margaret was more than a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she was a beacon of light, a true friend, and an irreplaceable part of our lives. Her spirit will continue to inspire us and her legacy of love and laughter will forever be etched in our hearts.
Margaret, you will be deeply missed, but your memory will live on in the smiles and hearts of all those you touched.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. A Visitation for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11:00am in the funeral home. Reception to follow service. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
