There are certain people in life who leave an imprint on our hearts that never fade, my Nonna and Nonno were those people. From the warmth of their home, to the love they gave, every visit, every meal and every moment we shared will be etched in my memory forever. 

I spent many weekends at their house, following Nonno around like his little shadow, enjoying our special bond. Those weekends are some of my most cherished childhood memories. 

Nonna and Nonno taught me the value of family, and the importance of spending time with loved ones. I'm so lucky and honoured to have had them as my grandparents.

Maria my dear sister was such a warm and loving person. I wish I had the right words to express how she will be missed by everyone. 
Francoise and I visited so many times in the past 62 years and Maria was always the proud and perfect host with her radiant smile and good sense of humour. We loved her charm!

I really miss her a lot. I learned a lot of things from her. I learned how to make jams, jar tomatoes and sewing.  Cooking, and eating and laughing and having a glass of wine in the afternoon when we would visit in Guelph. I really miss her. To the girls, your mother will always be with you and looking after you girls. She loved you a lot. Vi mando tutto il mio bene, Zia Lina.

Gusto and I shared many” heated” games of cards with you and Rudy over the years. It was something we really looked forward to. I enjoyed our many  talks. Over the years. You were a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Aurora, Barb, Marg , and Tina, their spouses , and families. Much  love. Eleda.

Zia Maria was a loving woman with a contagious smile.  She played an important role in our childhood, and contributed to many of my fond core memories (mostly involving her culinary expertise, Zio's homemade wine, visiting with them in their back yard, and in earlier years playing with all of the many cousins in Zia's basement).  She had an impact on so many lives, and her memory will live on forever.

I was very lucky to get to know Maria , over many years. She was so lovely… always smiling that beautiful smile and of course, dressed sharp!
She had a wonderful sense of humour, and loved her big family!  Rudi and she will be celebrating together again❤️  she will be missed.
