Passed away peacefully in her 102nd year. Loving wife to James “Jim” Edwards (2013), with whom she shared an incredible 64 years of marriage. Born the youngest of three children to Cyril and Ruby of Chatham, Ontario, joining brothers Jack and Babe. At 101 years of age, she is predeceased by each family member and friend of her generation.
Pat and Jim raised three children in Merlin, Ontario: Jane (David Edwards), Bob (Sheila Foster), and Kelly (Dale Carnahan 2021). Grandmother to Jeff, Mike (Renate), Jason (Andrea), Jonathon (Krystal), Trish (Eric), and Patrick (Kaitlyn), and great-grandmother to Josh, Beckham, Ryker, Lincoln, Ethan, Ella, and Braelyn.
We extend our deepest thanks to the team at Arbour Trails in Guelph for their care, and to the doctors and nurses at Guelph General Hospital and Hospice Wellington.
She died as she lived - with her nails done and her pearls on.
Private cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
