Randee was the beloved husband of Susan for 48 years, a devoted father to Mary (Mike) Vandenheede and Greg, and a cherished grandfather to Luke. He was a loving brother to Charles and Bonnie White of Niagara Falls, and a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Jack and his parents Lily and Arthur White.
Randee will also be fondly remembered by his dear friend Mr. Benson, his extended family, and the many friends and colleagues whose lives he touched throughout the years.
A Chartered Accountant for 48 years, Randee was deeply dedicated to his profession. He began his career at Crawford, Smith and Swallow in Niagara Falls, then relocated to Guelph, where he purchased the practice of George Lind. He later joined the firm of David Hastings, continuing to serve clients with care and integrity while also managing his own practice. Randee was a true professional who found purpose in hard work and service.
An active and respected member of the Guelph community, Randee generously gave his time to the Rotary Club and other local organizations. He also coached his children's hockey, skating, and baseball teams, and enjoyed playing in his own slow-pitch league.
A devoted dog lover, Randee spent his retirement years in Southampton, where he shared his home with his faithful companions—Beezley, Keifer, Rocky, and Rudy. He found great joy in gardening, walking the dogs along the trail, spending time at the beach, and enjoying precious moments with family.
Randee was a man who appreciated life’s simple pleasures—Harvey’s, fresh salads, and banana popsicles were some of his favourites. A passionate Montreal Canadiens and Guelph Storm fan, he also loved playing golf, the piano, and preparing a good pot of soup.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate PSWs at Paramed, Care Partners, and Closing the Gap for the exceptional care provided throughout Randee’s illness. Special thanks as well to the doctors and nurses at Guelph General Hospital (4W)—especially Cassandra—for their kindness, care, and support.
Randee will be remembered as a spirited soul with a generous heart, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication. He brought warmth, humour, and kindness to every interaction, and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
