Bob was the beloved husband of Micheline “the Nurse,” and devoted father to Matthew (Alina) and Sean (Aleks). He was a proud and loving “GrandBob” to Frankie, the apple of his eye. Bob will be forever remembered by his extended family and many dear friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob lived life to the fullest. Through his work with MDS and his love of travel, he saw the world and embraced every adventure. He had a passion for golf and was an enthusiastic hockey fan— “Go Sens Go!”.
Known as the life of the party, Bob had an endless supply of stories and jokes, bringing laughter and warmth wherever he went.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on Monday, May 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home (1099 Gordon St. Guelph). Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to Parkinson Canada or the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, in honour of his sisters (Elaine, Nancy, Jocelyn). These gestures would be greatly appreciated by the family. “And remember when they were building the St. Lawrence Seaway…”
