It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the peaceful passing of a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. Rosemary Mounsey (nee Rizzuto) passed away on April 26, 2023 at Parkwood Hospital surrounded by her family.
Rosemary was a loving wife to the late Bob Mounsey. She was a caring mother to Greg (Christine) and James (Dory). She was a treasured Nana to Kieryn, Robert, Hayden and Lauren. Beloved sister to the late Teresa and Vittorio, Sue (Martin) and Tony (Dianne). Rosemary is predeceased by her parents Bruno and Maria.
Rosemary was a passionate real estate agent in Guelph and London for many years. You weren’t just a client, you were a friend to her. Anyone who knew her, would have eaten her amazing food – cakes, cookies, pies, meatballs, pasta to name a few – and would have most likely been sent home with even more in containers to take home. She loved sharing her cooking with everyone and having family BBQ’s on Sunday.
She loved her four grandchildren and enjoyed hearing about their adventures and sharing stories and laughs with them. She spent many hours shopping, reading, cooking and watching Coronation Street. She was the most fashionable woman we knew and spent many hours in malls seeking out the best deals. As she always said…you have to spend to save.
Knowing that she is now at peace in God’s care and reunited with some of her beloved family and friends brings us some comfort.
