It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sarla Rani Sharma, who left us peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Wellington in Guelph at the remarkable age of 98.
Sarla was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her. Her nurturing spirit, and unwavering support created a legacy that will be cherished by her family for generations to come. She was inspirational, full of wisdom and resilient until the end.
Visitation and services will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home - Hart Chapel, located at 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday, October 30, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and celebrate Sarla's life.
Prayers will follow at the Guelph Gurudwara, located at 410 Clair road East, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Sarla’s memory.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she loved.
