Passed away peacefully in her sleep, at Saint Luke’s Place in Cambridge on January 5, 2026. Susan was in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Regimbald, Loved Mother of Marc (Jen) of Cambridge, Michael (Beth) of London, Matthieu (Ashley) of Guelph, and Eric of Calgary, Alberta.
Loving Grammie to grandchildren Josh, Lee, Alexander, Isabelle, Abbigail, Violet, Baxter, and Holden. Also survived by her sister Sandra Restall of Rhode Island. Predeceased by her brother Mose Scarlett of Toronto, Ontario.
Sue spent many years working with children as a daycare teacher, school bus driver, and then hallway supervisor. She was very social, and she loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. She would often bring her famous brownies as a treat to share with others. In her spare time, she would volunteer at Holy Rosary Church with the CWL and the choir.
Family and Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Tuesday January 13, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph on Wednesday January 14, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support during this time.
