She was surrounded by the love of her three daughters- Kim Hannam, Kathy Darrah (Gord Darrah) and Carolyn Hannam (Tony Zerjavic)- who were the light of her life.
Born on August 21st, 1939, in Elora, Teresa was the cherished daughter of the late Margaret and Leonard Whitlock. Teresa was predeceased by her husband Richard Hannam, brothers Neil and Patrick Whitlock and her niece Sheri Edwards. She was a devoted partner to Donald Reilly, a proud grandmother to Braden Korkorian, Benjamin Booi, Taylor Patterson, Breanna Booi, and Daniel Mooney, and great-grandmother to Layla Patterson. Teresa will be deeply missed by her sister Agnes Edwards, and many nieces and nephews.
Teresa’s bright heart and bold personality brought warmth to every gathering. She treasured her grandchildren, always finding joy in their stories and laughter. She loved to remind them how quickly time was passing and how proud she was of the people they were becoming.
She was proud of her many years spent working at Imperial Tobacco, where she formed lifelong friendships that she cherished dearly. Teresa loved tending to her garden, spending time with her family and many friends.
Though our hearts ache, we find comfort that Teresa’s warmth and love will forever live on- in the laughter of her family, the beauty of her garden, and the memories she leaves behind.
A celebration of life will be held Spring 2026- To Be Announced.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
