Vincent was predeceased by his loving wife Rosa (1999), and his parents Salvatore and Annuziata and his in-laws Michael Burzese and Teresa Picollo.
Vincent was the beloved father of Antonietta (Graziano) Signoretta, Peter (Brenda) Ciccia, and Rita (Jeff) Cross. He was a devoted Nonno to Cathy, Amanda (Fitzroy), Josh (Hannah), Adam (Melyssa), Ashley (Luke), Natasha (Tyler), Noah (Morgan), Nicholas, and Natalie. He was also a cherished Bisnonno to Alexander, Anthony, and Angelina.
Vincent was the dear brother of Marianna (late Angelo), Ralph, Joe (Rose), and was predeceased by siblings Michael (late Angelina), Frank (late Anne), and Angelo. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Tony (Rose), Connie (late Sam), Angelina (Vince) and pre-deceased by Carmela (Ralph). He was also pre-deceased by his beloved uncle Dominic and aunt Teresa Belcastro. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Affectionately known to many as Uncle Vinny, Vincent had a gift for making everyone feel like family. He immigrated to Canada from Italy at the age of 9 and built a beautiful life rooted in hard work, devotion, and love. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of generosity, strength, and faith.
Vincent had a profound connection to the land—gardening was among his greatest passions. He cultivated a sprawling vegetable garden that became the heart of countless lovingly prepared meals, all made with the freshest ingredients. His annual tomato sauce gatherings grew into cherished family traditions and were even spotlighted in the Guelph Tribune, a testament to the joy he shared with others.
Vincent dedicated 42 years of his life to Owens Corning, where he was a long-time and loyal employee. His remarkable commitment and work ethic extended far beyond the workplace—woven seamlessly into every part of his life.
A true craftsman at heart, Vincent poured his creativity and care into making his own wine, sausage, and salami. He was always ready to lend a hand—whether it meant fixing something around the house, tackling painting projects, plumbing, or electrical work. If there was a job to be done, Vincent found a way to do it, especially for the people he loved.
Above all, Vincent was a man of deep Catholic faith who loved God wholeheartedly. He was a pillar in his community and in the lives of all who knew him.
He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
