Vonda Giuseppina Bonesso

She was a devoted and deeply loved mother to her son, John-Luke Prystayko, who was the center of her world. Vonda was the cherished daughter of Costante and Rita Bonesso, and a beloved sister to Mauricio, Nives, Oscar, and John. She took great joy in her role as an aunt to Cameron, Anna, Eric, Olivia, Nathan, Daniela, Brenna, Vanessa, and Kyle, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Vonda was known as a kind and gentle soul, a true friend to many, and someone who offered warmth and understanding without judgment. Her compassion extended especially to animals. She was passionate about animal welfare and a dedicated advocate for the adoption of older animals, believing deeply that every life deserved love, dignity, and a second chance.

Those who knew Vonda will remember her for her soft strength, her empathy, and her unwavering care for others—human and animal alike. Her presence brought comfort, her friendship brought joy, and her love left an enduring imprint on the hearts of her family and friends.

She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered always.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, January 23 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph.
