He was born in St. John, New Brunswick and moved to Ontario with his family to work for Ontario Hydro in 1966.
He is predeceased by his wife Marilyn, and sons Paul and Greg. He is survived by his son Wayne, Daughter in law Amy (Paul) and Lisa (Greg), and grandchildren Leah and Andrew (Paul), Travis and Brittany (Greg). Bill was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. He always had a smile for everyone

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON. As per Bill’s wishes, private cremation has taken place.
