Dear Andrea and Family, I am offering my sincerest condolences to you all and heartfelt prayers for your mother.  May God bless you all at this sad and difficult time.

My condolences to Andrea and Family.  I attended St. Patrick Junior High School with Anne in the 60s, but we travelled in the same circle of friends and were close throughout the years.  I have fond memories of Anne growing up as well as adults when we planned Old Neighbourhood Reunions in the 2000s.  Anne was humorous, kind, thoughtful and loyal to her close friends

 I have a funny memory of Anne when we were in Grade 7.  We were prohibited from eating candy or chewing gum during class, and Anne had a bag of jawbreakers.  Jawbreakers could not be chewed until they melted a bit in your mouth.  We had a newly minted teacher, Terry Burns, who suspected Anne of eating candy.  The class was quiet, and every once in a while, you could hear Anne do a little slurp.  Mr. Burns decided to ask Anne to do a little reading from the book we were being taught from just at the time she popped a new jawbreaker in her mouth.  Anne blushed easily and turned blood red, and the slurping began as she started to read.  She tried everything to disguise the fact she was eating candy in class but slurped between every second word.  While it was funny to the rest of the kids, it wasn't enjoyable to Anne.  Mr. Burns thought Anne was embarrassed enough and no further punishment was necessary, which was a good thing because many teachers used the strap for such behaviour in those days.  This moment in time could have been something Norman Rockwell could have depicted.  Anne was also married to one of my best friends, Frank Beazley, who became Halifax Police Chief.  They will both be missed greatly

Your mom and dad were very close friends of ours. Your dad and I grew up in the same neighborhood and were in the same training class for HPD . I knew your mom for over 45 years and always found her to be a kind, intelligent, and wonderfull person. Sandy and I are so sorry to learn of her passing. I have many fond memories of our time spent at the Old Police Club and many other Police related  social events. May she rest in peace.

I am very sad to hear about  Ann.  She was a neighbor,  and wonderful family fiiend who always had a smile and always time for a chat to catch up.  I also was a babysitter to Andrea and Frankie during my teens.  My heart goes out to Andrea and her family and  Ann’s brothers and there families at this sad time❤️

To all Family Members of the Late Ann Beazley;
I was deeply saddened when I read  that Ann had passed away.  Your Mom,  your Dad Frank and I have been friends since we were teenagers, and when your parents were only dating. That was when your Dad was working in a grocery store, before he joined the Halifax Police Dept. .. So we go back a few years. (smile).
I will miss Ann's smiling face, her kind ways and her sense of humor, along with her personality, she was a tremendous woman in every respect.
Her loss may be overwhelming to accept at the moment, but .. I know her memory will live on forever in the hearts and minds of all family, because of the years of fun and laughter you all shared together., when your Dad was well.  My sincere condolences to all the family. I 'm unable to be in attendance at the Service  Wednesday January 8th due to a hospital appointment at 2 pm on that date.  My thoughts and Prayers will be with you at that time.

My first meeting with Mrs Anne was when I started job shadowing at Closing the Gap as a CCA.  My first day that I arrived at Anne's home I felt so welcomed. Eventhough she didn't know me from a hole in the ground but greeted me with such a warm smile and a great conversation. I took great care of Mrs Anne for about four weeks until my shadowing was up. She was a wonderful person, one of my favourites, with a beautiful soul. I will surely miss her.
