Astrid Marie (Doucet) Sellars

Astrid passed away peacefully, surrounded by love. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Morris “Bud” Sellars, as well as two cherished caregivers, Jason Singler and Jeremy Doucette, whom she loved as sons. She is also mourned by her dear friend Dolly Mintern, whom she considered a sister. In addition,

her sister-in-law, Camelot, she leaves behind, several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to their wonderful neighbors—Carol, Tom, and Willa—whose kindness and support brought comfort and connection over the years. A special and heartfelt thanks goes to Jason and Jeremy—our angels—for their unwavering care, compassion, and constant presence. Their dedication made it possible for Astrid to remain in her home, where she felt most at peace.

We also express our sincere appreciation to VON and the exceptional staff at Northwood Homecare for their professionalism and warmth during this journey.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Astrid’s life will be held on Friday June 13, from 1-3. at 5524 Heatherwood Court.
