It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my son, Barry Jamie Crane of Halifax on July 5, 2014. Born in Halifax he was the son of Marion (Crozier) Crane and the late Byron (Bing) Crane.
Early in his life Barry was employed by HPH Mechanical Ltd. Barry played minor hockey in his early youth and also enjoyed many years of hydroplane racing with his dad, having won many trophies.
Barry is survived by his mother and his daughter, Shauna Marie as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held for Barry on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 1:00pm at Fairview United Church, 3524 Dutch Village Road, Halifax.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or Fairview United Church.
