Beatrice Marie Hayden

Hayden, Beatrice Marie, age 91, of Halifax, passed away at Arbourstone Enhanced Care on Sunday, February 22, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Rita) Power. She had been employed as a nurse at the Halifax Infirmary years ago and also worked at the Income Tax office. After raising her family at home, she returned to the work force at Sears in the call centre. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Hayden; infant daughter, Janet and sister, Shirley Power. Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Heather Miles (Abe) and sons, Stephen, Michael (Brenda), Ronald (Darlene) and Mark (Barb); grandchildren, Stephen, Lori, Jenna, Brandon, and Daniel as well as great grandchildren, Hayden, Chloe, Owen (Miles) and Samuel, Michael, and Katelyn (Reist).

A dual memorial service for Beatrice and her sister Shirley will be held on Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 am in St. Agnes Church. Special thanks to everyone who took care of our mother, she always said people at Arbourstone were very kind to her and appreciated all you did for her. Thank you again from all the family.
