Married on September 6, 1948, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert S.; sons, Robert L. (Judy) of Timberlea, Gregory G. (Tanya) of Ottawa, and seven grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Rayburn and Elfreda Dauphinee of Hubbards, NS; eldest son, Kenneth R. of Courtenay, BC; granddaughter, Tracy of Oromocto, NB; brothers, Irving of Halifax, Lester of Hubbards; sisters, Jean of Hubbards, Joyce of Halifax.
She attended Fox Point School, Fox Point, NS and was a devout Anglican, a former parishioner of St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Hubbards, and St. John’s Anglican Church in Fairview.
Cremation has taken place. A private family committal service will be held at St. John’s Columbarium in Fairview with the Reverend Carson Baxter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
