Blaise Francis MacIsaac

MacIsaac, Blaise Francis 79-of Halifax passed away on October 4, 2023 at Hospice Halifax. He was the son of the late Joseph William and Margaret Kathleen (Callahan). He was born in Antigonish in 1944 and lived in Halifax for over 74 years and worked for the city of Halifax. He enjoyed staying at his Summer place in Parlee Beach, walking the beach, seeing the sunset and spending time around the campfire. A wise, caring hard working family man who will always be remembered.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Dorothy MacIsaac; daughters, Lisa (Stephen) Patrick, Falmouth, Michelle (Darren) Schrader, Moncton; son, Blaise (Nathalie), Hammonds Plains; grandchildren, Jessica (Jake) Ashland, Nathaniel, Halifax, Jayna and Marlee, Hammonds Plains; great grandchild, Aubree Ashland; brothers, Larry (Beverley), Joe, Richard (Donalda), Blair (Carolyn); sisters, Deloris (Robert) Cooper, and Deborah Pellerine; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Blaise was predeceased by his loving companion and spouse, Linda; sisters, Amy Raftus and infant, Mary Margaret.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 13, 2023 from 3-5pm followed by a memorial service at 5:30pm both in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS. A private burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
