The Mayor of Armada Dr. is now passing the torch to one of his loyal councilors who made his time in the neighborhood fulfilling. He loved his home & the people who surrounded him. Bruce was a friend of Bill’s for 42 years.
They say the 5 people you spend the most time with as you grow will affect who you are in life. Bruce was an exception to that rule. Whether it was years, a month or even one day, he always had an impact on people he met. And if you were lucky and he took an interest in you, your life would be forever changed. He had a love of life and people that made you feel that you need to spend more time with him. It was infectious and you wanted a piece of that; that optimism, his openness, his loyalty. You just knew this man would take you on that journey you never had the courage to explore. His life was one of extraordinary memories and his stories are treasure his grandchildren will share with their grandchildren.
Jimmy Buffet once wrote " some of it was magic, some of was tragic, but I had a good life all the way". This bit of poetry encapsulates Bruce & his life. A life we will all miss.
Predeceased by father Rudolph Cormier and Mother Pearl Sabina (Fillmore) Cormier, sister Barbara Ruth Grant, brother – in – law Christopher Mitts and Grandson Jean Charles Cormier
