With heavy hearts we said our last goodbye to Bryon on April 1, 2017 at the Dartmouth General Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Joy Greer of Victoria, BC, along with several other family members.
Bryon was a valued employee of Prescott Group in Halifax for 24 years. Upon his retirement, he volunteered at Salvation Army on Strawberry Hill and Saint Benedict Catholic Church, bringing smiles to everyone who met him.
In his spare time Bryon enjoyed singing, dancing and laughing…he was a true entertainer. He was an avid bowler, movie goer, and sci-fi fan who regularly attended Halcon. He had a wicked sense of humour, which emerged in many practical jokes.
Bryon’s greatest joy was spending time with his friends. He will be greatly missed by his housemates, Nora and Beverly and his best friend, Paul. He was a selfless and dedicated friend and will be greeted in heaven by his best buddies, Al and Dennis. He lit up the room with his laughter, charm and kindness. Bryon showed sincere appreciation for the support he received from those he trusted most. His absolute love and acceptance made him an irreplaceable part of all the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Bryon’s Life will be held on April 11, at 1pm, at J A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax, with a reception to follow.
Bryon taught us all about the importance of kindness, acceptance, positivity and love. In lieu of flowers, please ‘pay it forward’ with a random act of kindness in his honor.
Good bye our sweet friend.
