

He worked most his life as a stevedore on the Halifax Waterfront and was a member of the Halifax Longshoremen’s Association, Local 269, retiring in 2003
Carmon had a love for swimming, playing the fiddle and guitar, singing and shopping (spoiling) for his wife on TSC.
He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of almost 23 years, Diana ( Borromeo), daughter, Jo-Ann Peters ( Greg), Dartmouth, sons, Craig (Jeanine), Dartmouth, Steven (Marion), Ontario, and Timothy, Halifax.
He was also survived by his sisters, Arlene (Colin), Judy, his sister-in-law, Christine; grandchildren, CJ, Amanda, Mark, James, Jessica, Melanie as well as three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Ronald, infant son Darrell, grandson, Devon and brother-in-law Terry Young.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 27 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. Funeral Service will take place at the chapel on Saturday, February 28 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
