It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing on January 1, 2019 of our precious baby boy, Cassius (also known as baby Cash). Born on November 9, 2018, Cash brought immense joy to all who met him. Despite his short life, he managed to touch many hearts and souls, from Newfoundland to British Columbia.
Cash passed away peacefully at home, in the arms of his loving parents. He was the son of Ceilidh Cherrett and Sanchez Clarke of Halifax. He is survived by his siblings; Cadeyn Cherrett, Cordai Clarke and Milanna Clarke, his grandparents; Nana Cherrett, Papa Cherrett, Nanny Susan, Nanny D’eon and Papa D’eon, and countless aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him from the first time they laid eyes on him. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; Francine Walsh and Bruce Hardiman.
During his 7 short weeks here on earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by all who met him. His life was a brief gift but he gave us a lifetime of love, and he will be greatly missed. Cash will always remain his parents precious ‘baby blue’.
Special thanks to the IWK, Halifax Regional Police and the Paramedics who arrived so quickly to assist.
A Celebration of Cassius’ Life will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.
