Family was very important to Charlotte. She was the go-to person and glue that kept everyone informed. As a loyal friend, caring sister and beloved aunt, Charlotte shared a special bond with those closest to her. At family gatherings, you could often find her enjoying a glass of wine chatting with the young adults, keenly interested in their lives, often providing a piece of practical advice.
Charlotte had an exceptional memory and a sharp mind for numbers. During her business career she worked at Maple Leaf Dairy, which became Farmers Dairy, where she had a lengthy tenure as Purchasing Manager until her retirement. She also served on the board of her condo at Convoy Estates. Charlotte was a person of deep faith with compassion for others. For many years she brought joy to the residents at St. Vincent Guest House by playing the organ at Sunday Mass.
Over the years, her love of travel took her to Europe, Florida and throughout Canada and the US. Charlotte made many memories camping in her RV at Klahanie campground in Aylesford and later on at Wayside in Glen Margaret. She had a fondness for music and would avail herself of it at every opportunity presented, be it watching concerts on television or listening to the radio in her car. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. Visitation will take place on Monday July 18 6-8 pm, Funeral Mass at Saint Mother Teresa Parish 6032 Normandy Dr., Halifax on Tuesday, July 19 at 11 am. A reception will follow in the church hall.
