Christopher Jerome Kennedy

Age 60. Passed away at home March 30, 2026. Christopher was born January 18, 1966 in Halifax, NS, Known as the youngest and favourite son of Ignatius Kennedy and Muriel Kennedy. Christopher was the life of the party, everyone’s best friend and the world’s best Dad and Grandpa.

Christopher was a fun loving, kind and caring man who took pride in his work at Sunshine Care Homes where he made many treasured relationships with clients and coworkers alike. Chris also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with close friends, family and enjoying a glass of Crown Royal with his crew of friends weekly at the TBR. He took extreme pride in his granddaughter, Emma MacAdam (8), who affectionately called him Grandpa.

Christopher is survived by his daughter Christine Kennedy and, Granddaughter Emma MacAdam. His sister Carolyn LeDuc, and his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Christopher was predeceased by parents Ignatius and Muriel Kennedy, and his sister Gloria (Peter) Kennedy-Inkpen

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at J.A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax from 1pm - 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christopher’s memory may be made to Bryony House for the support and shelter of battered women.
