Peters, Clarence Joseph "Pete" 90, Halifax, passed away peacefully February 3, 2013, in Northwood Manor, surrounded by his family. Born in Hunter River, PEI, he was a son of the late Angus and Priscilla Peters. He was a Veteran of Second World War and a long time employee of Don Schelew Drycleaners, until his retirement to Chester Basin. He is survived by his daughters, Auldine, Joanne and Bernadette (Harvey); sons, Donald (Barbara), Kenneth (Elaine); sister, Rita; brother; Frances and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by infant son David, sisters Marguerite, Ida and Sr. Edna L, CND.
Funeral Mass is 10:30am on Friday, February 8, in Saint Mary’s Basilica, followed by reception in the Parish Hall. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwood Manor in Halifax. A special thanks to Dr. Bell, staff, and residents of 9 Manor, for their kindness and support.
