Clyde Gerrard Holland

Clyde Gerrard Holland, age 71 of Halifax NS passed away June 1, 2012 in the VG Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Barbara(Johnson) and Thomas Holland. He was a Queen Scout of the Boy Scouts. He was one of the co-founders of the original Speedy Print. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish.

Survived by his wife Barbara(O’Neill)Holland, daughter Teri Lynn(Ian)Holland- Telfer, Kelowna BC, son Matthew(Heather)Holland, Bedford NS, sisters Cathy Pillon(Gerald), Virginia Holland and Madeline Wright(Norman), brother Terrance Holland(Vivian), sisters-in-law Mary Holland and Joan Holland and grandchildren Simon and Isaac Telfer, Amelia Holland, his great loves. Also he is survived by O’Neill relatives, a true family to him, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers David, Charles(Bun) and Thomas, sisters Barbara Walker, Sheila Carriere and Brenda Dronyk. Visitation will be held Monday June 4, 2-4 and 7-9pm in JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Hfx NS B3S OE1(455-0531). Funeral Service will be held in St. Agnes Church, Mumford Rd Hfx, Tuesday June 5 at 10am, Father John Williams officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His family was always paramount in his life. Clyde loved household projects. He was a very creative man with a wonderful sense of humour who loved to laugh.
