Constance "Connie" Janet Pellerin

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Constance “Connie” Pellerin, who left us peacefully on April 13 after her courageous battle with cancer at the age of 64 at Hospice Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Clare (Dill) Novelli.

Connie leaves behind an enormous void and will forever be missed and loved by her family. Connie was a bright light and could win a room over with her contagious laugh. Family was everything to Connie. Her greatest joy came from being with the people she loved — whether it was taking her sons’ dogs for walks at the Dingle, shopping with her sisters, enjoying road trips with Shawn, or simply making a home cooked meal for her family. She was the heart of her family: A devoted wife, loving mother and stepmother, proud grandmother, and a caring sister.

Connie is survived by her loving husband Shawn; her sons Ryan (Bryana) and Jude (Sarah); Stepchildren Kyle (Katie) and Jenna (Cody); Grandchild Anthony; Step grandchildren Gianna, Maelle, Evy. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Teresa (Jimmy) and Lisa, her brother Carlo, her adored fur babies Peppi and Lucci and her many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Clara, sisters Leslie and Lana, and brothers Tony, Gary, Frank, and Ernie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 18 from 12-3pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. All who knew and loved Connie are welcome to join the family in celebrating her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Halifax.
