This world would be hard pressed to find a nicer human being than Danny. I am not surprised to hear that he was so well respected in his teaching career, as we saw him as a wonderful, courteous, whitty and prompt bar tender over the many years we had the pleasure of knowing him. We did meet you Maggie,
years ago now, and we want to extend our heartfelt sympathy to you and the children. Narda Lonergan and Tom Sawyer

Dear Maggie, Oliver and Abby,
Although I never had a chance to get to know you, I would often think of how lucky you were to have such a caring father and husband. The care and dedication he gave to improving the lives of the many students he supported through the Learning Centre at Central Spryfield School was certainly admirable. I know that Dan was very proud of his family and it would put a smile on my face whenever Dan would talk of his children, as it certainly showed how pleased he was of their many accomplishments. I'm sure you have many wonderful memories of your husband and father, memories that show how proud you were of him. I certainly consider myself lucky too, having been given the opportunity to be co-workers and friends over the past five years. The memories I have of Dan will remain strong in my heart forever!

Maggie, Oliver and Abigail....Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very sad and difficult time. Try to take comfort in knowing that Dan was very much loved by everyone who knew him. He will surely be sadly missed by many. I truly enjoyed working with Dan over the past 4 years and he became a dear friend who ALWAYS had a smile and a kind word for everyone he met and was truly in his element when he was working with the children. Watching him work with students, one could only imagine what an amazing and wonderful father he was to Oliver and Abby. His quick wit and sense of humour I am sure will live on in all of you. Thinking of you and praying that God will soon ease your sorrow and pain so that you only remember the good times and can cherish the beautiful memories of a wonderful father and husband. Much love and support. Tracey Poole
