David was born in Sydney Mines, NS. He lived in many places due to the fact that his father was in the army and later on his career with the Royal Bank took him to California, Houston, and Toronto. Upon retirement David and Diane settled in the Halifax area.
Throughout David’s life he enjoyed hockey, baseball, curling, and golf. But his biggest passion was horse racing.
David is survived by his wife Diane, sons Spencer, of China and Brian (Jacque), of Houston, Texas, grandsons Dylan and Brayden who were the apples of his eye. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth (Brenda), of Ontario and his aunt Eleanor of Sydney, NS. He was predeceased by a younger sister Sandra and his parents, Evelyn and David Livingstone.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
