Donald Roy West

West, Donald Roy- age 50, of Timberlea, N.S., passed away on Tuesday, June 28,2011 at the QEII Hospital. Born in Halifax he was the son of Joan Ebbett and the late Robert West. Donald was employed at the QEII Maintenance Department for 30 years. He belonged to Central Nova and SMA TV club and loved riding his A TV. He was a jack of all trades and was meticulous when making projects from wood. Donald is survived by his wife, Trish (Power); daughter Jennifer West; son Christopher West; sister Ruth Samson (Marshall), Dartmouth; brothers Gerard (Balinder), Surrey, B.C.; Michael (Lois), Portuguese Cove and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive on Friday July 1 from 2-4 and 7-9. Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church, 6032 Normandy Dr., Father Gordon MacLean officiating.
