As I watched the video I was comforted by the fact that Dorothy 's life was a life "well lived". She was surrounded by loving friends and family throughout her life. She lived life to the fullest with so much joy and love even in her older years. She was blessed by the special relationship with her granddaughter Shayne who was her best friend and always supported her. Many will feel a lasting loss on Dorothy’s passing but memories will live on in those who loved her.

The invasion of the Probert’s,
Aunt Dorothy would welcome all of us with open arms, Patsy, John, Vincent, Marilyn, Janice, Allan, Sharron, Joeanne, Willie, Betty Anne, Robert and of course Ina & Bob.... Imagine telling someone your bringing your family for summer vacation and you open your door and heart to 11 children.... well Aunt Dorthy did and we loved her for it!
one of our most wonderful memory was her blueberry grunt.
Love you Aunt Dorothy!!!

Carolyn, Tom, Bill, Shayne and families, our thoughts are with you as you celebrate you Mom's, Grandmother's, Great Grandmothers life. We (Don, Gladys, Donna & Nancy) and (Fred, Dorothy, David & Carolyn) had many outings & celebrations together such as mussel and perry winkle cookout at Peggy's Cove and Aunt Dorothy's rabbit stew at Christmas. Aunt Dorothy will be missed for her joking and laughter. May she rest in peace. God Bless Nancy, Lee, Christa, Craig and family.

Aunt Dorothy was an extra special lady to everyone who knew her. and always a pleasure to be around. She was my 'other" Mother, who gladly, and lovingly accepted the role. I'll miss our visits, but I know it was time for her to go. I'll miss our visits, but she'll hold a special place in my heart forever.
My condolences to Carolyn, Shayne, Bill, and Will...and their families.
Lovingly
Donna and Bob
