A life long resident of Halifax, Mom was born to John Alexander and Pearl Loretta (Mills) Campbell. She attended Sir Charles Tupper School and Halifax Academy. She was employed with Sears Canada and later with Fosberg and Mitchell Ltd.

Mom was a member of the United Church of Canada for over 80 years and a regular for Sunday service at St John’s United in Halifax for more than 60 years. She gave freely of her time to volunteer for the Nova Scotia Rehab Auxillary and St Theresa’s Church luncheons. To Sharon, Gary and Susan. We were so sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. We have lost a number of the original residents of Edinburgh Street lately and each lost brings back memories of our early years growing up on the street. They will all be missed and remembered with great affection. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families.

Dear Susan & family, sorry to hear about your mom's passing. One of the fondest memories I have of your mom is that whenever we went by your house on Edburg Street, I always saw your mother with her apron on, looking to see what kids around the community would be doing so she could hand out freshly baked, hot out of the oven cookies. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family during this difficult period. Even though your mom has gone and passed, may you always remember the laughter, love, and joy she provided to a lot of people.
Blessings, Karen Larsen, your former neighbor (Daughter of Mel & Althea Larsen)

Gary & family - So sorry to learn of your loss. I don't think we ever met your Mom but I'm sure she was quite a lady. It sounds like hers was a life well lived. We won't be able to join you at the visitation or the funeral because Robert is recovering from major surgery - but doing quite well.
