

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earl “George” Marshall on Nov 8, 2021, Halifax, NS. He passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, both physically and remotely. He would have loved to stay a little longer, but heaven had a plan to bring him home.
George was born in Sydney, NS on Dec 22, 1940. He married his loving wife Norma Lantz on Aug 1, 1964, who was by his side until the end.
He is survived by Norma and son, Michael (Alisa), daughter, Linda (Jon), son, Doug (Terri) and seven grandchildren Amanda (Ryan), Alisha (Rob), Nicole (Aerion), Stephen (Stephanie), Ian, Danielle (Patrick), and Nathan. Step grandson Tyler (Brittany). Three great grandchildren Theresa, Parker and Adeline. Also, he is survived by two brothers Edward and Robert (Mary). He was predeceased by his parents, John “Ralph” and Grace, brothers Jack (Norma), Ralph (Shirley), Leaman (Evelyn), sister-in-law Marg and brother Phillip, in infancy.
He was very social and loved to make people laugh. He spent his last two years at Parkstone, Halifax, where he had many friends. He left a lasting impression no matter where he went.
He will be missed by many.
Please join us at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive Halifax for a visitation on Tuesday November 16 from 2 - 4 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 17 at 10:00 am.
