Of Bedford, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, September 2, 2013. Ted was born in Halifax to the late Edward and Gertrude (Little) Palmer. A well-known car salesman, Ted worked throughout the Halifax area and the Valley for many years.
Known for his quick wit and generous spirit, Ted had a deep love of nature and the outdoors. As an avid hunter and fisherman, many happy times were spent with his brother Rod, and the 'Boys on the Hill' at his camp, in Upper Stewiacke.
Left with fond and loving memories are his partner and best friend of 33 years, Dace Tomlinson of Bedford; sons Gregg and Mark; grandchildren Andrew, Shaquille, Nolan, Cheyenne, and Alyssa; siblings, Debbie, Cindi, Rodney, and Wanda; step-daughter Sandra Tomlinson; and daughter-in-law Kathleen Palmer.
A private family burial is taking place and a Celebration of Ted's life will be held on Sunday, October 20 at 2:00pm at Ted's cabin, 390 Otter Brook Branch Road, Otter Brook Upper Stewiacke.
